Heal a Sprained Ankle as Fast as Possible
If you ever find yourself in a situation where you can’t make it to a clinic or hospital and you or a companion has a sprained ankle, you are going to want to know how to heal the sprained ankle fast. As long as there are no broken bones in your ankle, you should be able to get the ankle back to normal in two or three days.
If you can, ice the ankle for the first 24 hours or if ice is unavailable keep it as cool as possible - this will help reduce swelling. Additionally, keep the foot elevated while getting more rest than normal since both of these actions will expedite healing. When the ankle seems to be completely healed, you should still use an elastic wrap or medical tape from your first aid kit to provide some additional support and stand as a reminder to take it easy for a few more days.
