Here's How To Make Your Own Survival Water Filter
We all know that water is essential to life. Essential to the point where you can only survive two to three days without it.
So what happens when you are stuck or stranded somewhere with no clean water supply for a couple of days, or even worse, weeks? How are you meant to survive this if the only water available to you is dirty water?
Easy. With a simple water filter.
In order to make one, all you would need are two tumblers, one for the dirty water and one for the filtered water; a piece of cloth to be used at the filter; and some good old duct tape.
Place the rolled up cloth, secured with duct tape, into the two tumblers, one dipping into the dirty water and the other dipping into the empty tumbler. With time, the water will filter through and drop into the empty tumbler as clean water.
One thing to note though is that the 'clean water' still needs to be boiled to kill harmful micro-organisms that could still be in it. Another thing to note is that this method is pretty slow.
